Hornton Masterclass
- Star Tours
The Hornton School Play for Christmas 2003 was the musical 'Star Tours', written entirely by two staff members, Janet Porter and Hilary Childs. All the children in classes 2 and 3 took part as actors, singers and musicians. The pavilion was turned into the interior of a spaceship, and the audience (the spaceship's passengers) was taken on a tour of space. The ICT equipment was used to project images of planets and moons onto a large whiteboard (the spaceship's 'screen'), the laptop being used as part of the 'control panel'. Virtual guides explained to the audience where they were going.
