Most plants are pollinated by animals, and one of the most common of these is the bee. A bee is attracted to a plant because of the nectar it produces. As the bee attempts to drink the nectar, pollen from the anther is brushed onto its body. Once it has finished drinking the nectar, the bee then travels to another plant, where the pollen sticks to the sticky stigma at the top of the style. The pollen then travels down the style to the ovary, where it fertilizes the ovules. As the bee travels from plant to plant, this process is repeated over and over again.Jan 29 - 09:27Action VerbsCausal ConnectivesSequential ConnectivesPassive
