The first plan is attached to the Diglake Colliery Disaster Report. It shows both the 1895 Diglake Colliery workings, plus the older workings from which it is assumed that the water broke through. The two shafts at Diglake can be seen in the bottom left-hand corner of the plan, labelled No.1 Pit Downcast and No. 2 Pit Upcast. The key to the plan is shown on the right.
The second plan also forms part of the report. It shows the cross-section, represented on the first plan by the line labelled 'line of section'.
