Bloxham Primary School

Virtual Tour

Bloxham Primary School was founded in 1863, and moved to its current location on Tadmarton Road in 1973. Four new classrooms were opened in 1995, making Bloxham the largest primary school in the Warriner Partnership.
We begin our tour at the school's front entrance which looks out onto the countryside which surrounds the village.
Inside the entrance is the main school library, with its colourful murals:
Beyond the library we can take the corridor which leads to the Lower Juniors. Behind us is the school hall which is currently being refurbished. The school was built to provide a well-lit, spacious environment, as you can see:
Through the windows of this corridor we can look out onto the enclosed courtyard where children can play and eat their lunch:
From the corridor we arrive at the Upper Juniors' area, with its spectacular high ceiling.
This area has its own library as well as four spacious classrooms, all of which look out onto the play areas which surround the school.
Through the Upper Juniors we emerge at the rear of the main school building:
Here is the new Early Years Unit, designed especially to help younger children enjoy their first months at school:
To the side of the school is an adventure play area:
And on the opposite side are the extensive playing fields:
We hope you have enjoyed our tour! More pictures of the Lower Juniors, refurbished hall and Early Years Unit will follow soon...
