Shenington Primary School Virtual Tour

Shenington Primary School recently moved to brand new premises on Stocking Lane. Located on the edge of the small village of Shenington in rural North Oxfordshire, we now have a purpose-built ICT suite and extensive grounds.
We begin our tour at the school's entrance where you can see the striking stone-built tower which houses the school's ICT suite.

To the rear of the school is the paved play area and benches.

From here there is a stunning view across the open fields and countryside beyond.

The new school has its own playing fields, including a netball/basball court and football pitch.

The younger children also have their own separate playground at the back of their classroom.

Inside the school, the reception area is dominated by the tower, built from the local Horton stone.

Inside the tower is the ICT suite & library...

...with it's spectacular ceiling.

Further along from the tower is the hall, used for assemblies and P.E.

Through the centre of the school is one main corridor, off which are located all of the classrooms, the hall and the suite.

There are three classrooms in total. This is the class for the youngest children.
The other two classrooms, for the older children, both have their own facilities and fantastic views over the countryside beyond the school.

The children have plenty of space for their coats and bags too...but while our new school is spacious and light and has all the modern conveniences....

...our old traditions still remain.

We hope you have enjoyed out virtual tour. Why not come and visit us in person?
